hunched over

 

Well, it's 3am. I am currently hunched over coz of my writing work. In between, I am in tears as I watch Cynthia Erivo's clip of the song Gethsemane as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar.  So emotional about it. The songs in that musical are some of the highest pitched and best lyrics. I once dreamed of singing Mary Magdalene's song  but I know that I can't. 😁 

Anyway, back to this image where I was meeting a deadline in lovely Boracay. This view almost sums up a part of my life-- I have to hunch over a laptop just to get to places like these. The discomfort and visual bait is bearable and a prelude to a rebirth when the writing stops and you get to email it. I wish for more days of bearable pain and fleeting discomfort coz it gives life some sort of punch to the face. We get to have a day even most days we don't. And that's ok.
