Showbiz Segue

So here's a bit part of my life in local showbiz. On normal days i am holed up in my house or in some Starbucks for the writing part but the time comes when you get to party as well with the rest of the whole team of the show.  The writers are usually the detached group from the whole hierarchy of a show. We don't go to tapings so the only time we meet half of the production people and the artists are thru farewell parties.  So here are some of the cast during the farewell party of GMA 7's BROKEN VOW (a soap opera aired over the afternoon slot of GMA 7).

Bianca King is our lead female character.

THE Celia Rodriguez

Celia Rodriguez is such a character on and off camera. I'm loving her presence. Hindi pwedeng hindi mo siya lilingunin when she enters the room.

Luis Alandy as Felix Rastro

Luis Alandy is so good in the series that people still rooted for him even though he was flawed to begin with. His character as Felix raped the lead character, Melissa. He soon fell in love with the girl he raped. People are forgiving especially when the sinner repents and if the sinner is that good looking.. hehe. or if the actor did his job well in endearing and letting the audience empathize with him. Luis Alandy is good and i hope to see more fine acting from him as well.

Gabby Eigenmann as Roberto Sebastian

Gabby Eigenmann is the male kontrabida lead here. Yeah, the ones who makes life hell for the lead characters. But kontrabidas in real life are the ones most mabait and warm in person; Gabby is a testament to that. He's a good actor too, of course, coming from the clan Eigenmann.
