Hindi ka na Mag-iisa (isa pang showbiz segue)

Ito isang mabilis lang dahil medyo nagmamadali ako. haha. Pero nagawa ko pang sumegue di ba? Heniways, sa Lunes ipapalabas na ang panibago naming soap opera sa GMA--- Hindi ka na Mag-iisa (You won't be Alone). Pagkatapos ito ng Eat Bulaga na papalitan ng Hiram na Puso (which i am also part of). So ito ang kapalit ng Hiram na Puso. Yes, i'm stuff made for drama but do i look like it--another yes! haha. Don't expect me to cry in front of you though. another haha if that was funny.

It's the tale of two sisters and their journey through odds that aren't always in their favor. Conflict makes the world go round in TV dramas and of course in films.

The title sounds dated but the topic and plot isn't so much. We had issues about the title at first because it is old and sleepy to me or more like a segment on a Red Cross show. I guess its appropriate since it goes with the story.  The titles for afternoon soaps are always like that-- one with the verb or something sweeping, intriguing or arresting like The Good Daughter or My Lover, My Wife. The latter is  fresh compared with the usual staples like Magdusa Ka, Kung Aagawin mo ang Langit, Gumapang ka sa Lusak and Saan Darating ang Umaga. But can you notice the arresting verbs in Filipino? ---Magdusa. Gumapang. Very clear cut Filipino words. And the sweeping metaphors--Kung Aagawin mo ang Langit, Saan Darating ang Umaga? Dapat title pa lang pang-gising or pang-swooning effect. Show sa hapon ito at kalaban namin ang siesta at pag-cro-crosstitch ng mga nanay so the need for titles like that.

Now Jennylyn Mercado is such a stunner in person. Makinis and wide eyed full of good vibes. Alam mo yung pag-nakakita ka ng artista feeling mo mukha talaga siyang artista sa TV at hindi pinaka-magandang kaklase mo lang? Well, she has that aura, she's a star and she can act. I heard she's a triathlete now and is taking up taekwondo?

Sid Lucero, the leading man, wasn't there. Blech! and sigh.... But you have to watch out for their scenes together, Jennylyn and Sid. Magnetic! They have chemistry at leche kinikilig ako. Sid is such a good actor and has that little-boy-you-want-to-take-care-of  feel to him. Again, another sigh.
