Seouled Out in Korea
Had a grand time eating, worming thru subways, keeping warm, feeling like a VIP and getting lost somewhere in Seoul. I can't even remember some of the names of the places we've been to because it sounds so Greek err.. Korean to me. hehe.
Of course, again, coming from a third world country, oooohs and aaahhs cannot be helped upon seeing the city. It makes you wish for a better country back home but then i'll leave the frustrations aside and just savor Seoul and all its wonderful trappings.
Here are some sights:
Seoul at around 8am i think. Going to our hotel in the Coex area.
View from the hotel room. Situated at the uptown side of the city. Gangnam area, I think.
The city is lined with trees that are without leaves. Must be the cold weather. Looking at the trees with dark twigs spread above the heavens can be a bit dramatic for me. Very melancholic. Cold and distant like the weather. or maybe i'm just a tropics kind of girl but i like em.
Anyway, i'm quite tired. I've to go to sleep. I will leave this hanging for now.

Taking the subway is the best because it's cheap and you can people watch. (And you can get a small refund for returning the ticket!) There is a culture underneath. How people go by and how they behave. Though i would have loved to see the sights above but they are down below here and it's a peek into what they are as a people. Well, Koreans are nicer than what i expected based on what i've experienced in the past 4 days of our trip.
